Rotation Order

BACK

The rotation order tells Poser how to move the various parts of your figure.

Rotation Order Twist Axis-Lengthwise along object Bend 1 Bend2 Use Curve transformation - great for tails, rope, chains, hair
XYZ X Y Z
XZY X Z Y
YXZ Y X Z
YZX Y Z X
ZXY Z X Y
ZYX Z Y X
XYZ/curve X Y Z curve
XZY/curve X Z Y curve
YXZ/curve Y X Z curve
YZX/curve Y Z X curve
ZXY/curve Z X Y curve
ZYX/curve Z Y X curve

The rotation order is reflected in the dials.  See how TWIST is the first dial in yellow, then FRONT-BACK and then BEND.  The first axis in the rotation order should always be the twist parameter.  The last two affect how the body part bends around the non-twist axis.

When you create your figure, Poser does not automatically assign nice names like TWIST, FRONT-BACK, and BEND, instead Poser gives you X-ROTATION, Y-ROTATION and Z-ROTATION.  To change the default names you need to edit the CR2 file.  The CR2 file is just a simple text file.  Here is a good tutorial that covers how this is done.  How to Create a Poseable Figure From An .OBJ File  Hopefully later I will have my own tutorial :)
